Lentil SNIM 18

A Reliable Harvest for Culinary Excellence

The «SNIM 18» lentil variety is a product of long-term Ukrainian selection, specifically adapted to the country's unique climatic conditions. Unlike many imported varieties that demand highly specific growing environments, this variety shows remarkable adaptability to temperature fluctuations and drought, making it a predictable choice for growers focused on stability.

Advantages for Culinary and Processing

• Culinary Profile: The seeds are uniform in both size and color, which is critical for industrial processing. When cooked, the product maintains its structure rather than turning into mush, making it an ideal choice for premium soups, sides, and salads.
• Field Performance: The plant exhibits resistance to lodging, which simplifies mechanical harvesting and significantly reduces post-harvest losses.

Who is this variety for?

«SNIM 18» is optimal for farming operations seeking a high-marketability crop. It is the preferred choice for producers targeting the HoReCa sector and export markets, where consistent organoleptic qualities are essential. Compared to small-seeded varieties, this type allows for faster cleaning and calibration, saving both time and operational energy.

Despite its high yield potential, success with «SNIM 18» depends on strictly adhering to sowing timelines and managing weed control during the early vegetation stage. It is not a «low-maintenance» crop, but with proper management, it offers profitability margins that often outperform traditional cereal crops.
