Description Nadezhda
The "NADEZHDA" lentil variety belongs to mid-early, self-pollinating crops with a vegetation period of 71–89 days and an average yield of about 18.8 c/ha. Plants reach a height of 36–55 cm, flowers are white with blue veins, and cotyledons are yellow. Yield can reach 33.8 c/ha under favorable conditions, while the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 67 to 72 g, exceeding the standard Vekhovskaya variety by several grams.

Agrotechnical characteristics of the variety allow its cultivation primarily on chernozems and chestnut soils. The recommended sowing density is 2.0–2.2 million viable seeds per hectare, while the optimal sowing time coincides with early spring periods. "NADEZHDA" is distinguished by its resistance to shattering, lodging, and drought, making it suitable for regions with a moderate climate.

Protein content in the grain ranges from 27.1% to 27.9%, and crude fat content is 1.5–1.8%. Seed disintegration time is 55–61 minutes. Care for the plants requires inter-row loosening and weed control. Thanks to its qualities, "NADEZHDA" is suitable for both food production and feed purposes, ensuring a stable yield and high product quality.
