Chrysolith

The «Chrysolith» lentil variety is a high-protein crop grown under various climatic conditions due to its drought and pest resistance. Plants reach a height of 32 to 54 cm, with leaves having an elongated-oval shape. The flowers are pink, usually two to three per inflorescence, giving the crop a decorative appearance.

The «Chrysolith» seeds are small and dark pink without a pattern; the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 25 to 38 grams. They have a high protein content – up to 30%, making them a valuable ingredient in cooking and the food industry. The vegetative period is 80–92 days, and the plants are resistant to lodging, shattering, and drought.

The average yield of the «Chrysolith» variety in the region reaches 15.8 centners per hectare, with a potential increase to 18.8 centners per hectare in some areas. The maximum recorded yield is 27.3 centners per hectare. Due to low susceptibility to powdery mildew and other diseases, «Chrysolith» ensures a stable output with moderate agronomic efforts.
