Lentil Krasnohrad 49

Selection Heritage and Specialization

Krasnogradskaya 49 is a landmark lentil variety developed by the breeders of the Krasnograd Experimental Station (UAAS). Within the Ukrainian agricultural sector, this variety has established a reputation as a reliable tool for obtaining stable yields of food-grade crops. Its standing is built on a predictable vegetation period and excellent culinary properties, making it highly sought after in the grain market.

Agronomic Profile

The variety is tailored for intensive cultivation and features a short maturation cycle of 75–85 days. This early maturity allows for successful integration into crop rotations, efficiently utilizing spring moisture. The medium height (31–45 cm) simplifies harvesting procedures, minimizing losses during mechanized operations.

Why Choose This Variety?

• Quality Stability: The green grains of Krasnogradskaya 49 possess a balanced composition ideal for industrial processing.
• Culinary Value: The product is perfect for the HoReCa segment and dry-mix production (soups, sides), as it retains its texture and taste profile well after thermal processing.
• Local Adaptation: Bred specifically for Ukraine's climate, this variety ensures high adaptability to local soil and environmental conditions.

Opting for this variety is a commitment to time-tested Ukrainian selection, which optimally balances agronomic efficiency with market demand for high-quality food ingredients.
