Description Topaz
Topaz F1 hybrid carrot represents a mid-season variety with a maturity period from 78 to 120 days. Sowing seeds is recommended in late April to early May at a depth of about 1 cm with a row spacing of 15 cm. After germination, plants should be thinned out, leaving a distance of 5-7 cm between them for optimal development. The roots have a cylindrical shape with a rounded tip, measuring 16-17 cm in length and weighing 105-115 g. They are fully buried in the soil, which promotes their quality formation and protection from damage.

The Topaz hybrid is characterized by high yield—up to 5-6 kg per square meter—as well as resistance to diseases. The roots are uniform, sturdy, with a small core and a smooth orange surface and flesh. Due to the increased carotene content (up to 17 mg per 100 g of raw product), the carrot has a bright saturated color and excellent taste qualities. The flesh is sweet, juicy, and aromatic, making the variety versatile for various uses.

Topaz carrot is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing, including canning, freezing, making purees and juices, including for baby food. The harvest is well stored until spring, maintaining its marketable and taste qualities. The plant leaves are medium-cut, green in color, with a semi-erect rosette, which also indicates the health and strength of the plant.
