Carrot ARBUULAK

Working with Arbulak carrots

When heading out to the field with Arbulak from Ooo Agroplaneta, you quickly realize this is seed designed for those targeting the early market. This Nantes-type carrot behaves predictably. When sown under plastic, it gets off to a strong start, which is critical if your goal is an early harvest for the bunching market.

Vegetation and marketability

The 80–90 day maturity period allows for stress-free sales planning. In the field, the roots maintain a consistent conical shape. With a length of 15–20 cm, they represent the gold standard for commercial carrots, fitting perfectly into standard crates and looking highly attractive at retail. The breeding work from Satimex Quedlinburg is evident: the roots are resistant to cracking and show excellent uniformity, which significantly simplifies harvesting and sorting processes.

Key considerations for cultivation

• Soil quality: in heavy soils, thorough preparation is required to prevent deformation of the conical shape.
• Irrigation: consistent moisture during the root formation phase is key to preventing "hairy" roots.
• Harvesting: when using mechanical harvesters, the tops hold firmly, helping to minimize losses during collection.

Arbulak is the choice for farmers who need a reliable result without surprises. German genetics, combined with the professional processing by Ooo Agroplaneta, make this variety a dependable tool in the "sowing-to-profit" chain. With proper agrotechnology, you secure a commercial product that moves quickly off the shelves.
