Aerospace F1 cabbage is an early-maturing, productive hybrid developed by the Dutch company Syngenta. This variety is characterized by strong growth and a well-developed root system, ensuring excellent adaptation to adverse weather conditions, including heat and sudden cold snaps. From transplanting into the soil to forming compact, attractive heads, it takes approximately 2–2.5 months, allowing harvest during summer and autumn periods when planted from March to April and from late July to the first week of August respectively.
The heads are white, dense, with a high covering leaf and average weight up to 1.5 kg. The flowers are evenly arranged, making the product attractive for fresh markets. Although the cabbage withstands transportation well without damage or loss of market appearance, it does not store long in fresh form, so it is recommended to process it quickly after harvest.
The hybrid matures in 70–75 days for spring planting and up to 85 days for summer-autumn planting. The cabbage is disease-resistant, reducing cultivation risks and promoting stable production of high-quality yields. Due to its characteristics, Aerospace F1 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures high productivity with proper crop rotation.
