Bluegrass SAFRINA 1

Engineered for High-Traffic Performance

Sabrena 1, developed by the Danish breeding giant DLF, is a Kentucky bluegrass variety designed for high-performance turf. Whether you are maintaining a professional sports pitch or a commercial landscape, this variety offers the structural integrity required to withstand heavy foot traffic and mechanical stress.

Practical Applications

• Sports Turf: Its ability to withstand high intensity makes it a top candidate for stadium pitches and recreational soccer fields.
• Disease Resilience: The variety shows robust natural defenses against powdery mildew and root rots, which are the most common issues in dense, moisture-retaining turf environments.
• Aesthetic Appeal: The light green color provides a vibrant, clean look that enhances the visual value of any facility.

Agrotechnical Recommendations

For best results in the field, use a seeding rate of 20-25 g/m². This density ensures the turf develops a tight, uniform carpet that naturally crowds out weeds. One of the standout features of Sabrena 1 is its resilience against blight (phytophthora), which allows for consistent performance in various climates without the need for excessive chemical interventions.

When planning your turf installation, keep in mind that the inherent strength of Sabrena 1 comes from its genetic purity, provided by DLF Seeds. This is a reliable, professional-grade solution for those who prioritize long-term durability over short-lived results.
