Bluegrass Achil

Reliable Turfgrass for Local Climates

"Akhil" Kentucky Bluegrass, developed by the Ukrainian breeder "Iksgp Naan," is a professional-grade choice for establishing durable turf stands that require minimal intervention. Its standout quality is its natural resistance to powdery mildew, a common issue in temperate climates that often compromises the aesthetic of residential and public lawns.

Seeding and Establishment

To achieve a dense, high-quality turf surface, professional operators should adhere to a seeding rate of 15–20 g/m². This density is crucial for "Akhil" to establish quickly and suppress weed competition effectively. With its mid-green foliage, the grass provides a consistent, visually pleasing texture that maintains its appearance throughout the growing season.

Practical Applications

• Residential Lawns: Perfect for high-traffic family areas where durability is as important as the visual appeal.
• Municipal Landscaping: Ideal for parks and urban green spaces where chemical disease management should be kept to a minimum.
• Soil Stabilization: Its aggressive root system makes it an excellent candidate for protecting soil on gentle slopes.

By selecting this variety, you are investing in a predictable growth cycle. "Akhil" allows for a straightforward maintenance schedule, reducing the need for fungicide treatments and ensuring a robust, healthy lawn with standard cultural practices.
