Nu Glade meadow fescue seeds are intended for sowing in warm regions and are suitable for both commercial plantations and private estates. The variety is characterized by high yield and disease resistance: protection from gray rust, powdery mildew, and soil fungal infections. The seeds have a dense, uniform grain composition with optimal moisture of 12‑14 %. Sowing is recommended at a temperature of 15–20 °C; maximum growth and root system development is achieved within 30‑45 days after planting.
Leaves are dark green, narrow, medium length, without hairiness. The flower is absent or weak, ensuring pure lawn decorativeness. The variety is drought-resistant, winter-hardy, withstands moderate frosts and snowfalls, and is resistant to rust, helminthosporiosis, and powdery mildew. Due to rapid spring regrowth and medium yield of about 25–30 c/ha, the meadow fescue "Nu Glade" is widely used in turf grasses: sports grounds, children's play areas, urban greening, and decorative lawns.
The seeds provide a dense lawn up to 25 mm high, easily mowed to 2–3 cm. Shade tolerance is high – the plant grows in both sunny and shady areas. Wear resistance allows the use of the fescue on intensive plots. Under moderate conditions, growth stabilizes at the level of 2 kg/100 m², ensuring the durability of the lawn. Such a variety is suitable for both northern and southern regions, as well as for pasture use.
