Bluegrass BELOGORSKIY 76

A Reliable Choice for Professional Landscaping

Developed by the A.G. Lorch Federal Potato Research Center, 'Belogorsky 76' meadow grass (Kentucky bluegrass) has established itself as a staple in the professional turfgrass market. This variety is the result of years of dedicated breeding, aimed at adapting the crop to challenging climates where both aesthetics and plant survivability are non-negotiable.

Multipurpose Versatility

The primary value of 'Belogorsky 76' lies in its flexibility. Breeders have refined its characteristics to suit three distinct areas of application:

• Turf and Landscaping: The light green foliage provides a clean, vibrant aesthetic for lawns and parks.
• Sports Facilities: The dense sod formation allows the grass to withstand moderate mechanical wear.
• Forage Production: High nutritional indicators make this variety a valued asset in regional agricultural systems.

Robust Disease Resistance

A common challenge with meadow grass is susceptibility to fungal diseases, but in 'Belogorsky 76', this risk is significantly mitigated at the genetic level. The variety exhibits high resistance to both helminthosporiosis and powdery mildew. For landscape designers and agronomists, this translates into reduced expenditures on fungicides and predictable results when managing large-scale projects. The variety has proven its reliability in harsh conditions, as validated by the reputable research institute behind its development.
