Bluegrass BLUECHIP

Why Bluechip is the professional's choice for turf

When working with Kentucky bluegrass, the biggest headache for any groundskeeper is maintaining density under heavy foot traffic. Bluechip by Jacklin Seed is the answer for those tired of patching up worn-out areas. Developed by top breeders in the USA, this variety stands out due to its genetic resistance to powdery mildew, which is a major advantage in humid or dense planting conditions.

Field Performance and Maintenance

The beauty of Bluechip is its predictability. If you follow the seeding rate of 20-25 g/m², you get a rich, dark green carpet that resists fading and recovers quickly from wear. In terms of daily operation, it is highly resilient; the root system develops into a dense, "springy" mat that holds up perfectly for sports fields or high-end residential lawns. It is built to withstand pressure without losing its visual appeal.

Seeding and Care Guidelines

• Stick to the 20-25 g/m² seeding rate; exceeding this won't speed up maturity and may actually crowd the seedlings.
• Bluechip maintains its deep color with minimal fertilization, saving you money on input costs.
• Its natural immunity to powdery mildew means fewer fungicide applications, drastically simplifying your maintenance schedule.

If you need a reliable turfgrass that looks premium and doesn't require constant babying, Bluechip from Jacklin Seed provides one of the best value-to-performance ratios on the market.
