Bluegrass AVOR

The Benchmark for Premium Lawns

Award Kentucky Bluegrass, developed by the American breeding company Jacklin Seed, is the choice for those who refuse to compromise between aesthetics and durability. This variety was engineered to produce a dense, low-growing turf that retains its deep dark green color even under minimal maintenance conditions.

Key Practical Applications

• Sports Fields and Golf Courses: Thanks to its superior shoot density, Award offers excellent wear tolerance and recovers rapidly from heavy foot traffic and mechanical damage.
• Urban Landscaping: The variety exhibits exceptional resistance to common turfgrass diseases, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications in public parks.
• Residential Lawns: Perfect for creating high-end "carpet" lawns that require less frequent mowing due to its controlled vertical growth habit.

Agronomic field experience demonstrates that Award serves as an effective foundation in seed blends. In temperate climates, it thrives through prolonged springs and hot summers without losing its ornamental value. Developed through the collaboration of Jacklin Seed, Barenbrug USA, and Hurrell and McLean Seeds, this variety ensures a uniform sward free of thinning, which is critical for professional site development.

By selecting Award, you secure a predictable outcome: high-quality turf that demands less time for weed control, thanks to its aggressive growth rate and dense structural integrity.
