Bluegrass RAGBI II

An American Standard for Turf Reliability

The Kentucky bluegrass variety 'Rugby II' (Рагби ИИ) from Jacklin Seed has firmly established itself in the professional landscaping segment as a benchmark for durability. In the world of turfgrass, this variety occupies the niche of an "all-rounder," capable of maintaining its aesthetic appeal in environments where other seed mixes fail due to harsh external pressures.

Why 'Rugby II' is the Choice for Golf Courses and Parks

Unlike classic first-generation cultivars, 'Rugby II' was refined in Jacklin Seed laboratories to address one primary challenge: vulnerability to pathogens. Under intense usage conditions, where humidity and high temperatures act as catalysts for disease, this variety exhibits exceptional resistance:

• High threshold for leaf spot resistance, a scourge of many decorative turf surfaces.
• Robust defense against powdery mildew, allowing for a reduction in fungicide applications.

These characteristics make it an ideal choice for establishing a dense turf structure that not only looks visually striking but also effectively resists heavy foot traffic and wear.

Practical Application

The versatility of 'Rugby II' is evident in its wide range of applications. Its seeds are integrated into grass mixes for municipal parks, high-traffic private estates, and professional sports facilities. The variety is recognized for its color stability throughout the season and its rapid ability to regenerate vegetative mass following mechanical damage. For landscape professionals, selecting Jacklin Seed is a guarantee of a predictable outcome and minimized risk of turf loss during periods of climate-induced stress.
