Bluegrass DAUNTLESS

Technical Architecture of «Dauntless» Kentucky Bluegrass

The «Dauntless» variety, developed by Deutsche Saatveredelung in collaboration with Rutgers University and other international partners, represents a high-performance solution for turf management. It is designed to withstand rigorous environmental and physical stress while maintaining a consistent aesthetic profile.

Physiological Performance

The technical superiority of «Dauntless» lies in its dense growth habit and rapid establishment rate. Key attributes include:

• Genetic resistance to powdery mildew, which significantly reduces the requirement for intensive fungicide applications.
• Exceptional wear tolerance and recovery rate, essential for sports turf where mechanical stress is constant.
• A consistent medium-green leaf color that performs well across various climate zones and maintenance regimes.

Operational Versatility

Deutsche Saatveredelung has engineered «Dauntless» to serve as a versatile asset. Whether deployed for professional athletic fields, commercial landscapes, or high-end residential lawns, the cultivar provides uniform performance. Its ability to tolerate low mowing heights makes it a preferred choice for managers looking for professional-grade turf density and disease resistance.
