Bluegrass Granite

Lolium perenne 'Granite' seeds – a high-quality material for rapid greenery of lawns and sports fields. The culture is distinguished by high germination (96%) and seed purity (97%). Sowing in a range of 200‑300 kg/ha (2–3 kg/100 sq.m) achieves a dense carpet up to 15 cm high, providing a strong root system. Seeds germinate in 21–25 days with daily watering and sufficient lighting, while developing an active root network in the first season; the second season fully reveals green foliage.

Lolium perenne 'Granite' is suitable for a wide range of soils: fertile ones with moderate moisture, sand is added to heavy soils, and lime for high acidity. Thanks to frost and drought resistance, the lawn maintains its attractiveness for 15‑20 years. Seeds are easily sown by hand or with a seeder; after sowing, drip irrigation and regular care are required, including the first mowing at a height of 4–7 cm.

The variety is often used in mixtures with ryegrass, meadow oatgrass, white clover, which increases resistance to diseases, pests, and mechanical damage. The seed packaging is made of eco-friendly materials, suitable for recycling or safe disposal. Such a Lolium perenne ensures a soft, dense lawn, ideal for both decorative areas and active recreation on sports fields.
