Blue Ribbon

Blueberry variety BLUE RIBBON is a high-quality mid-season industrial variety considered the standard for cultivating this crop. Plants are tall, reaching heights of 1.7 to 2.0 meters, with dense crowns and upward-growing canes. Regular pruning is required to maintain plant shape and health. Berries are large, up to 18 mm in diameter, have a flattened shape, and are arranged in small clusters. Their color is deep blue with a distinct light-blue bloom, and their firm skin ensures high fruit transportability.

The berries have a sweet taste with a slight tartness and a delicate blueberry flavor, making them especially enjoyable fresh and suitable for processing. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 6 to 10 kg of berries per plant. BLUE RIBBON is resistant to major diseases and pests, and also possesses high cold tolerance, surviving temperatures down to -34 °C, which allows cultivation in various climatic conditions.
