Highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) is a fruit plant about 1.5 meters tall with berries 15-18 mm in size. Successful cultivation of blueberries requires specific soil conditions, as the plant does not grow in ordinary garden soil. The optimal substrate is a mixture of peat or coniferous litter, which maintains the required soil acidity.
