Bentgrass Dyuna

Stable Results for Your Landscape

When it comes to creating a high-quality lawn, choosing the right grass seed is 80% of the battle. The 'Duna' bentgrass variety from SKFNAZ (North Caucasus Federal Agrarian Research Center) has proven itself as a reliable choice for those seeking a balance between aesthetics and durability.

Cultivation and Performance

• Establishment: The variety shows excellent germination energy, which is crucial for quick surface coverage. This minimizes soil erosion risks and the appearance of bare patches.
• Maintenance: 'Duna' bentgrass is responsive to regular irrigation while maintaining good resistance to variable regional climate conditions. Its regrowth speed after mowing allows for maintaining a pristine lawn appearance without excessive daily labor.
• Turf Density: One of its main advantages is the formation of a thick, uniform stand. The dense turf effectively suppresses weed development, significantly reducing the need for herbicide treatments.

Practical Maintenance Tips

To achieve that carpet-like effect, we recommend strictly following the seeding rates developed by the originator (FGBNU SKFNAZ). Bentgrass thrives with moderate mowing: avoid letting it overgrow, as this negatively impacts its ornamental quality. During peak growth periods, complex fertilizers provide a quick visual response, and the lawn will immediately gain a rich, vibrant color.

The variety shows stable winter survival under typical local climate conditions. The repairability of the turf is high: in the event of mechanical damage, the sward recovers quite promptly, especially when provided with timely irrigation. 'Duna' is a tool in the hands of a professional, allowing for the creation of quality green cover with minimal hassle.
