Bentgrass York

The Choice for Professional-Grade Turf Density

When you are responsible for maintaining sports pitches or premium lawn areas, you learn quickly that the quality of seed is the foundation of everything.

Performance in High-Traffic Environments

The standout feature of Jorvik is the density of its turf. It creates a tightly knit carpet that effectively chokes out weeds and stands up to the stress of cleats and heavy usage.

Disease Resistance and Maintenance

Managing turf health is often a constant battle against pathogens, particularly Red Thread (Laetisaria fuciformis). Jorvik offers excellent inherent resistance to this disease, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. During those damp, transitional months when fungus typically thrives, Jorvik remains remarkably resilient, which saves both on chemical costs and manual labor.

• Reliable Quality: As an original product from Dlf Seeds A/S, the seed lot purity is excellent. You do not deal with contaminants or unwanted grass species, ensuring a clean, uniform stand from day one.
• Management: This variety handles low mowing exceptionally well, maintaining its color and leaf turgor even when clipped short for performance surfaces.
• Efficiency: It responds well to standard feeding programs and consistent irrigation, making it a predictable performer for any turf management team.

From an operator's perspective, Jorvik takes the guesswork out of turf establishment. It is robust, easy to manage with standard machinery, and provides a professional finish that satisfies even the most demanding expectations. If you are looking for a reliable, disease-resistant bentgrass that holds up under pressure, this Danish-bred variety is a top-tier choice.
