Ryegrass MEDOACUS

Medoacus – Italian tetraploid ryegrass with a wide leaf and high palatability. The variety is characterized by high development, making it aggressive against weeds and providing resistance to lodging.

The plant reaches a height of 123 cm, with a yield potential of 11–12 t/ha. Due to excellent palatability and easy digestibility, Medoacus attracts farmers seeking to improve cattle feeding efficiency. High protein content makes it a valuable source of nutrients for animals.

The variety is suitable for both grazing and silage. The number of cuts ranges from 3 to 4: one cut is possible with September sowing until winter, and three cuts after winter. The sowing rate is 30–40 kg/ha, which ensures optimal field coverage and maximum product yield.
