MARI is a creeping bentgrass known for its high decorative value and resistance to heavy foot traffic. The plant forms a dense emerald carpet about 15–20 cm high, thanks to thin leaves averaging 1–2 mm wide and dense growth of vertical shoots up to 10–12 cm long. The result is an elegant, light-green lawn with characteristic nodes resembling strawberries, giving it special aesthetic appeal.
MARI quickly roots in shoot nodes, forming stable bushes and stolons. This ensures excellent regrowth ability after mowing: the plant withstands frequent low mowing (5–25 mm) without loss of coverage density. To maintain density, regular watering, mowing at a low height, and feeding with fresh seasonal fertilizers every three weeks is recommended.
In moderate climates, MARI demonstrates good adaptation to humidity fluctuations due to its developed root system. With proper care (periodic mowing, feeding twice a year, and sand dressing), the plant maintains a bright green color and dense coverage throughout the season. This makes it an ideal choice for decorative lawns, golf courses, and home landscaping projects, where both aesthetics and practical resistance to foot traffic are valued.
