Description FRISY PRINCE
Frisy Prince is an early-maturing basil variety with a soft anise aroma, expressed in its delicate dark purple leaves with pinnate edges. The plant forms a semi-spreading, heavily foliated bush up to 50 cm tall, adorned with pink flowers. This variety is distinguished by its high green yield — 2.1-2.2 kg per square meter, making it attractive for growing both in open ground and at home.

Frisy Prince basil is valued for its high taste qualities and pleasant aroma, making it excellent for fresh consumption, pickling, and drying as an aromatic additive to various dishes. The unusual leaf shape and decorative flowering allow this variety to be used not only as a spice but also as a decorative plant, adorning a garden or home window sill.

For growing in the central region, seedlings are recommended, while in southern regions, direct sowing of seeds in open ground is possible at a depth of 1.5-2 cm. Sowing is placed on sunny plots with light, fertile, and non-acidic soils. Shoots 10-12 cm long are cut several times before flowering, which promotes more abundant growth of greens and extends the harvest period.
