Basil CINNAMON

A Spicy Classic from Aelita

The 'Cinnamon' (Koritsa) basil variety is the result of breeding work by Elizaveta Romanovna Kudryavtseva and the Aelita company. This variety has carved out a niche among gardeners who value not just the ornamental qualities of greenery, but also a deep, recognizable flavor profile. Unlike standard green varieties, 'Cinnamon' boasts a distinct spicy aftertaste that fully justifies its name.

Agronomic Profile

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm, forming a compact yet robust bush. The leaves are large, oval-shaped, and rich green in color. The variety demonstrates impressive plasticity: it develops successfully in partial shade, making it an excellent choice for those who practice indoor gardening on windowsills or balconies, where full direct light is not always available.

Culinary Potential

The culinary reputation of 'Cinnamon' is built on its versatility. Its large leaves are ideal for:

• Preparing fresh salads, where the spicy aroma enhances the taste of vegetables.
• Creating homemade marinades, where notes of cinnamon open up most fully.
• Decorating dishes thanks to its aesthetic oval-shaped foliage.

This is a choice for those who seek a balance between high varietal productivity and a unique flavor profile that turns everyday meals into signature culinary creations.
