SCENTED GYULASH

The Basil variety "Scented Gyulash" is an early-maturing annual plant with a spreading form and a height of 40-50 cm. It is distinguished by its rich content of essential oils, which give it a spicy and thick aroma, ideally suitable for meat dishes, especially for preparing gyulash. The plant mass reaches about 300 grams, and after cutting, the leaves regrow quickly, ensuring a regular harvest.

Thanks to the ability to maintain aroma during freezing, it can be used year-round. Additionally, the leaves are suitable for preserving vegetables and even for flavoring confectionery products, which expands the application possibilities of this spice in the kitchen.

The agrotechnology for growing basil "Scented Gyulash" involves planting via seedlings, especially in temperate latitudes, as the plant is heat-loving and originates from tropical regions of Asia and the Mediterranean. Seeds germinate at temperatures not lower than +15℃. The plant can grow successfully both in the garden and at home on a sunny windowsill, making it accessible for cultivation under various conditions.
