Description CINNAMON SCENT
The Basil variety «Cinnamon Scent» is an early-maturing green-leaf variety with a pleasant spicy aroma and a characteristic cinnamon note in taste. The plants are spreading and branched, reaching a height of 35-50 cm and a diameter of 30-40 cm. Leaves are of medium size, oval-oblong, olive-green in color with a smooth surface and finely serrated edges. Flowers have a delicate mauve tint. The mass of one plant ranges from 300 to 400 grams, providing high green yield — 2.8-3.0 kg per square meter.

This basil variety is rich in essential oils and carotene, and also contains vitamins and mineral substances that have tonic properties and promote improved digestion. Thanks to its useful qualities and rich aroma, «Cinnamon Scent» is widely used in cooking as a spice-flavoring additive. It is excellent for preparing vitamin salads, hot dishes, meat and fish recipes, as well as for canning.

Basil is recommended for use both fresh and dried, which allows its aroma and beneficial properties to be preserved for a long time. This variety differs in early maturity — from the appearance of full seedlings to the beginning of commercial readiness only 28-32 days pass, which makes it convenient for growing and quick harvest.
