Basil ANISE SCENT

Aromatic refinement: Anisoviy Aromat Basil

The «Anisoviy Aromat» (Anise Aroma) basil, developed by the Russian company «Npk Nk Ltd», represents a specialized niche in the herb market. As a product from the Scientific-Production Corporation «Nk. Ltd» (originator #544), this variety is engineered to deliver a distinct aromatic profile that differentiates it from common sweet basil cultivars. It has become a reliable choice for gardeners looking for flavor complexity in their culinary herb gardens.

Key Traits and Cultivation

• Compact Growth: Reaching a height of 40–50 cm, the plant is well-suited for container gardening, balcony boxes, or as a compact row crop.
• Foliage: The small green leaves are particularly rich in the essential oils responsible for the plant's signature anise scent.
• Versatility: This cultivar is highly valued in the kitchen. It excels as a fresh salad ingredient, a savory seasoning for various dishes, and as a key component in aromatic marinades and pickles.

The market reputation of «Npk Nk Ltd» products is built on genetic consistency. «Anisoviy Aromat» stands out for its predictable behavior, which simplifies management for both amateur gardeners and small-scale producers. The variety does not require advanced horticultural techniques, performing best with standard watering schedules and regular harvesting of stems to encourage secondary growth. By focusing on a specific, non-traditional flavor profile, this basil provides a valuable addition to any culinary collection, ensuring that professional and home kitchens alike have access to high-quality, fragrant greens throughout the growing season.
