Barley Atlant Myronivskyi

Stability and Performance in the Field

The winter barley "Atlant Myronivskyi" is a reliable choice for agronomists who prioritize consistent overwintering. Bred by the V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat, this variety shows excellent hardiness in practice: with a winter hardiness rating of 7, it allows for confident planning even in regions with volatile weather. For the farm operator, this means minimizing the risk of reseeding and ensuring uniform stand density from autumn through to harvest.

Operational Advantages

• Agronomic Profile: A height of 90–100 cm makes the crop highly manageable during harvest. The plants show strong resistance to lodging, which is critical for maintaining high harvesting speeds with modern combines.
• Grain Quality: With a thousand-seed weight of 50–52 grams, this variety ensures a heavy, high-potential yield. Its two-row structure promotes even maturation, simplifying the setup of threshing mechanisms for cleaner grain samples.
• Disease Management: Its genetic resistance to leaf blotch, downy mildew, and dwarf rust significantly reduces the chemical load on the crop. The variety also displays strong tolerance against powdery mildew and rust, allowing for more flexible fungicide application scheduling without sacrificing harvest quality.

By choosing "Atlant," you get predictable results: a strong, sturdy crop that resists pre-harvest shattering and yields grain that consistently meets quality standards. It is a workhorse variety that forgives minor technological nuances and reliably delivers high yields with standard agricultural management.
