The 'Tip' pea variety is a medium-late spring type with a vegetation period of 95-100 days and plant height of 100-120 cm. It is characterized by high yield potential up to 60 ц/ha and high protein content in the seeds — around 28%. Each pod contains 7-8 seeds, and the 1000-seed weight is 230-250 g, indicating large seed size and good seed quality.

The 'Tip' pea variety exhibits strong early growth, good development, and stability under various growing conditions, making it especially suitable for planting in the Polissia region. The recommended planting depth is 4-5 cm, and the optimal planting density is 800-900 thousand plants per hectare. The variety shows high resistance to major pea diseases, including ascochitosis, stem rot, powdery mildew, viral diseases, and pea rust, which ensures crop preservation and reduces losses during storage.

Moreover, the 'Tip' variety demonstrates high resistance to lodging and shattering, facilitating harvest and improving the quality of the harvested crop. Thanks to these characteristics and stable productivity, the variety enjoys well-deserved popularity among growers, and its registration and production have been carried out by Saatbau Linz since 2017.
