Barley Agrariy

Spring barley variety Agrarіy — a relatively new variety registered in 2014, which, due to its versatility, can be grown in all climatic zones of Ukraine. Plants reach a height of about 72 cm, placing the variety in the medium-early maturity group with a vegetation period of about 85 days. Thanks to these characteristics, Agrarіy is suitable for cultivation both in southern and northern regions of the country, and is optimal for intensive cultivation and early sowing.

The ear of the variety is two-rowed, medium-length, cylindrical in shape, with a slight waxy coating and not overly dense structure. The thousand-grain weight is approximately 41 grams, and the grain density is 730 g/l. The average yield of the variety reaches 5-7 tons per hectare, with potential yields up to 9 tons. The grain contains approximately 14-16% protein and 56-57% starch, with conditioning reaching 85%.

The variety is distinguished by high drought resistance and resistance to major barley diseases such as scab, powdery mildew, striped helminthosporiosis, dwarf rust, as well as resistance to lodging and stem brittleness. The productive tillering rate is about 1.8 stems per plant, which contributes to stable yield formation. Agrarіy is produced in elite and first-generation reproductions, ensuring high quality of seed material.
