Early autumn variety selected at the Buryat Fruit and Berry Experimental Station. Obtained by crossing 'Ranetka Purpurovaya' with 'Papirovka'. Breeders: L. I. Dubrovskaya, I. A. Novoselova. Approved for the Republic of Buryatia since 1987.
Widely grown in collective and private gardens in Buryatia, in small quantities — in Chita Oblast.
Tree bushy, above average height, with round crown and medium density. Bark on trunk and main scaffold branches gray. Branches straight, spaced apart, ends directed upward; fruiting concentrated on simple buds, shoots, and fruiting twigs.
Shoots light-brown, hairy, medium thickness, slightly curved, round in cross-section. Buds small, numerous. Buds medium-sized, round, hairy, pressed against the shoot.
Leaves medium-sized, elongated, base rounded, tip slightly tapered. Leaf margin finely toothed. Color dark green. Leaf blade folded upward. Leaf surface wrinkled, shiny, without hairs. Petiole medium length and thickness, uncolored. Petiole leaflets lanceolate.
Flowers medium-sized, saucer-shaped, white, stigma styles positioned at the same level as stamens.
Fruits (see illustration) very small, semi-spherical, one-dimensional, elongated-conical, symmetrical, smooth, attractive. Main color yellow, covering color bright red, striped. Skin smooth with waxy coating, slightly rusted at the pedicel. Pedicel medium length, thin. Calyx moderately large, wide. Receptacle medium-sized, grooved.
Flesh light-cream, very juicy with mild aroma, firm. Taste sweet-sour, good. Chemical composition of fruits: 11.7% sugars, 1.8% acids, 15.7–27 mg/100g ascorbic acid, 365.9 mg/100g P-active substances.
Fruit ripens early autumn. Fruits stored fresh for two months. Suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing.
Partially self-fertile (up to 12%). Good pollinators include varieties 'Seyanets Pudovshchina', 'Ranetka Ermolaeva', and 'Malinka'.
Trees begin fruiting at four years old, fruiting is irregular. High-yielding variety; during full fruiting, up to 15–20 kg of fruit per tree, maximum up to 28 kg.
Winter-hardy, moderately drought-resistant.
Advantages: high winter hardiness, good yield, fruits rich in sugars and vitamins, fairly long storage life, suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing.
Used in breeding.
