ERLY RED VAN APPLE

The 'Erly Red Van' apple tree is a highly productive winter variety of American selection belonging to the Red Delicious group. The tree begins to bear fruit as early as 2-3 years after planting and regularly yields stable harvests. Fruit ripening begins in August, with the harvest taking place at the end of September. This variety is popular among both industrial producers and amateur gardeners due to its high marketability and excellent fruit taste.

The fruits of the 'Erly Red Van' apple tree have a truncated-conical symmetrical shape and are evenly colored dark red. The flesh is white, juicy, sweet-sour with a pleasant aroma, superior in quality to the Red Delicious variety. Apples are characterized by large fruit size, with an average weight of about 200 grams, and can be stored for a long time — up to 3 months at room temperature and up to 7 months under controlled storage conditions without losing freshness and taste.

The tree possesses good frost resistance, enduring temperatures down to -25°C, as well as being resistant to heat. Yield is 40-60 kg per tree. The variety has medium resistance to diseases, with possible scab infections. For successful pollination, the presence of pollinators such as Gala, Golden Delicious, or Jonagold is required. Saplings ranging from 1.2 to 1.7 meters in height with a well-developed root system ensure good survival and further development of the plant.
