Apple ERLY RED VAN APPLE

Working with Early RED ONE

Working with the Early RED ONE variety from «Ao Sad-gigant», one immediately notices its technical efficiency. This winter variety is highly predictable, which is critical for harvest planning and logistics. The primary operational advantage is its strong resistance to common apple scab. For an agronomist, this translates into fewer fungicide applications, effectively reducing production costs while maintaining optimal fruit quality.

Marketability and Cold Storage

From a commercial perspective, the elongated, round-conical shape and deep dark-red blush make these apples visually striking. An average fruit weight of 200–250 grams is the industry standard for retail, eliminating the need for complex sorting. Most importantly, the white flesh remains firm and crisp even after long-term storage.

• Shelf Life: When kept in professional cold storage, the fruit reliably maintains its quality for 7–8 months, allowing producers to access the market during peak price periods.
• Winter Hardiness: The tree shows excellent tolerance to temperature fluctuations, minimizing the risk of crop failure in regions with volatile weather.
• Maintenance: While the variety requires standard agronomic practices, its natural immunity to scab makes it significantly easier to manage compared to other commercial varieties.

«Ao Sad-gigant» has successfully developed a variety that balances modern aesthetic appeal with field-proven resilience. If you are looking for a reliable balance between yield and ease of storage, this variety offers a significant return on investment.
