Crispy Apple Cario 7 — an American winter variety distinguished by high frost resistance and disease resistance of fruit trees, making it suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including eco-gardens. The tree is medium-sized with a compact, rounded crown, reaching a height of 1.4–1.8 meters by the age of one year. The variety begins fruiting on the 3rd–5th year after planting and exhibits good yield due to grafting on rootstock 54-118.
The fruits of Cario 7 are large, weighing from 200 to 250 grams, with a round-cylindrical shape, yellow color, and a reddish-orange blush covering most of the surface. The flesh is creamy, dense, very juicy, sweet, and aromatic, with excellent flavor qualities. Harvesting occurs at the end of September — beginning of October, however, the apples require time to fully develop their flavor and are best stored for a long period, retaining their properties until April without loss of weight or taste.
This apple variety tolerates drought well and exhibits high marketability and transportability of its fruits. Due to its characteristics, Cario 7 is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain high-quality, long-lasting apple harvests with exceptional flavor.
