The 'Jubileiaya 75' wheat variety is a modern Odesa variety of winter soft wheat created at the Selection and Genetics Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine. It belongs to the universal type and is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 79.5 c/ha, and in some regions, such as the Rostov region, maximum yield indicators can reach 81.7 c/ha. The variety is medium-early, with a vegetative period from 236 to 299 days, medium-growing, with plant height from 76 to 114 cm. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 36 to 50 g, which indicates good grain quality and its high nutritional value.
Jubileiaya 75 possesses high resistance to main phytodiseases, drought resistance, and frost resistance, which makes it suitable for cultivation in the steppe zone of Ukraine, as well as in various climatic conditions of the Central-Black Earth, North-Caucasian, Middle-Volga, Lower-Volga, and Ural regions. The variety differs in heat-drought resistance and is able to withstand late spring frosts up to –9-10ºC during the stemming period, which significantly increases its reliability in adverse weather conditions.
In addition, Jubileiaya 75 is characterized by resistance to lodging and shattering, surpassing standard varieties such as Don's naked. The baking qualities of the variety are assessed as excellent, which makes it in demand for the production of quality flour and baked goods. Thanks to the combination of high yield, resistance to stress factors, and excellent technological properties of the grain, the variety Jubileiaya 75 is a profitable choice for agricultural producers oriented towards stable and quality yield.
