Povelya wheat is a winter variety of soft wheat, registered in 2008 and intended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe and forest-steppe regions. This medium-maturing variety is characterized by high productivity and disease resistance, making it highly sought after in agronomic practice for producing high-quality grain used in flour, bread, and other food products.

The Povelya variety features a strong plant form with plant height ranging from 60 to 80 cm, robust and thick stems, and dark green leaves. The ear length reaches 11 cm, and the 1000-grain weight is 45.1 grams. The vegetation period is approximately 270-272 days, corresponding to medium-maturing varieties. Yield under intensive cultivation on high agrofunds reaches 72-86 centners per hectare.

Povelya exhibits high resistance to lodging and cold tolerance, rated at 9 points, ensuring stable yields under adverse weather conditions. The gluten content in the grain varies from 31 to 31.8%, and the crude protein content ranges from 14.6 to 15%, indicating high grain quality. The variety belongs to the elite class and is primarily used as a winter wheat seed material.
