Wheat of the 'Wave of Dnipro' variety is a cereal crop with high agronomic characteristics and resistance to various adverse factors. This variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a vegetation period of 282-287 days. Plants are medium-height, ranging from 82 to 92 cm, with large oval red grains weighing 38.5 to 44.0 g per 1000 seeds. The seeding rate is 5.0-5.5 million seeds per hectare, ensuring a high yield potential of 8.3-12.9 t/ha.
'Wave of Dnipro' exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress conditions. The variety shows resistance to lodging, stem rust, powdery mildew, root rots, and brown rust, as well as fungal infections. In addition, it has high drought and cold resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and lowland areas. Grain quality is characterized by protein content ranging from 13.6-14.2% and gluten content of 32-36%, ensuring high bread-making value of flour.
