Corn hybrid Amigo is a mid-early maturity variety with FAO maturity group 300-320, intended for grain production. This hybrid features high yield potential up to 150 ц/ha and is characterized by dent-type kernels. Plants reach a height of 250-270 cm, with ears approximately 28 cm long, attached at a height of 105-120 cm. Each ear develops 14-16 rows of kernels, with 37-39 kernels per row, ensuring high productivity.
One of the key advantages of corn Amigo is its high resistance to adverse growing conditions. The hybrid demonstrates excellent drought tolerance, enabling stable yields even in regions with limited moisture. Additionally, the plant has a strong stalk, providing high resistance to lodging, as well as tolerance to Fusarium pathogen, significantly reducing yield losses. High cold tolerance and rapid adaptability make this hybrid suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia.
Seeds of corn Amigo are treated with the fungicide Faver and coated with a complex microfertilizer, ensuring protection against soil-borne diseases and promoting rapid, uniform emergence. Recommended planting density varies by region: from 45,000-55,000 plants per hectare in the steppe zone to 70,000-75,000 in Polissia. All seed batches are certified, guaranteeing originality and high germination quality of the material.
