Adenora corn is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid with FAO index 290, developed by Limagrain. This hybrid is distinguished by its high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it popular in Ukraine's agricultural industry and other regions. Adenora is suitable for cultivation in various zones, including Polesie and forest-steppe, as well as eastern, southern steppe and central forest-steppe regions of the country.
Adenora hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy, allowing early planting at soil temperature of +9...12 °C at seed depth. Plants reach stem height of about 270 cm, and 1000-grain weight is 350 g. Grain is cream-colored with dent type, with row numbers on ear ranging from 14 to 16. Potential yield is 10-14 tons of grain and 5-6 tons of silage per hectare with intensive cultivation technology. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 70-80 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 60-70 thousand in less moist zones.
Adenora has high tolerance to diseases, including Fusarium and blister rust, rated 8 on a 9-point scale. The hybrid belongs to the Hydroneo / Stay Green plant type, ensuring prolonged green mass retention and improved drought resistance. Thanks to these features, Adenora corn is suitable for producing conventional silage and grain, ensuring stable and high yields when recommended agronomic practices are followed.
