VITALIYA

Vitaliya is a soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety created through the collaboration of the Upper Volga Federal Agro-Scientific Center and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Research and Practical Center. This variety was bred using the method of individual selection of an elite plant from an F3 hybrid population (Valuta x Munk) and adapted to the technological and soil-climatic conditions of the Central Non-Black Soil Region, as well as recommended for cultivation in the Kaliningrad and Leningrad regions. Vitaliya is characterized by medium maturity and medium height, has increased resistance to lodging and the most common diseases, such as yellow and brown rust, powdery mildew, and bunt.

The variety is distinguished by high yield: in the competitive variety trial under normal technology, the average yield was 54.7 c/ha, which significantly exceeds the indicators of a number of other varieties. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 37 to 44 grams, indicating good grain quality. Vitaliya is suitable for cultivation under both conventional and intensive technologies, making it a universal choice for various agrotechnical conditions.

Due to good baking qualities, the grain of the Vitaliya variety is widely used for flour production and bakery products. This wheat variety provides a stable and quality yield, which is important for agricultural producers seeking effective and sustainable farming.
