TANYA

TANYA is a winter soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety characterized by medium-early maturity and semi-dwarf growth type. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring crop preservation. The wheat ear varies from cylindrical to pyramidal shape, medium length and density. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 35 to 49 grams, and grain natural density is within 795-810 g/l, indicating high grain quality corresponding to valuable wheat varieties. The TANYA variety exhibits high resistance to a complex of diseases, including yellow and stem rust, powdery mildew, loose and solid head blight, and septoria. Due to this, it does not require frequent treatments against brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew, and fusarium head blight, which reduces plant protection costs and increases growing ecological safety. The variety's frost resistance is above average, and drought resistance is at or slightly higher than that of other popular varieties, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. TANYA demonstrates high yield, which in various regions reaches from 45 to 120 c/ha, making it attractive for agricultural production. It is recommended for cultivation in Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Adygea, the Southern zone of Rostov Oblast, and the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The sowing rate is about 5 million germinating seeds per hectare. In terms of baking qualities, the variety corresponds to the level of filler wheat, which allows using its grain for producing quality flour and bakery products.
