Winter wheat variety ESAUUL represents an ultra-early maturing, short-stemmed, and high-yielding variety of soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a vegetative period ranging from 216 to 288 days. The plants are of medium height, around 80 cm, with an upright stem and straw, exhibiting a moderate waxy coating. The ear is cylindrical in shape, of medium length, and loose, white or straw-yellow in color, with awns present. The grain is red in color, of medium width and length, with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 34-47 g, which ensures high yields reaching on average 47.8-60.6 c/ha in various cultivation regions. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, drought, and frost, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions of Russia, as well as in the Steppe zone. ESAUUL possesses enhanced winter hardiness and resistance to major diseases, including brown and yellow rust, septoria, powdery mildew, and head blight, which contributes to a stable and quality harvest. The sowing rate is about 5 million seeds per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum productivity. The baking qualities of the ESAUUL variety are recognized as excellent: protein content in the grain reaches 14.6-15.5%, gluten — 29.2-31.0%, and flour strength is 395 units. The volume of bread from 100 g of flour reaches 1210 ml, which indicates the high quality of the flour and excellent technological properties of the grain. Due to these characteristics, the variety is in demand among flour and bakery product manufacturers, ensuring high quality of the final product.
