Wheat variety "Swan" is a soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of medium-early maturity with plant height ranging from 93 to 105 cm. The ear is awnless, white in color, cylindrical in shape, of medium length and density. The grain is large, elongated, red in color, with the mass of 1000 grains varying from 37 to 46 grams. The variety is characterized by high productivity, with a yield potential of up to 10 t/ha and more, confirmed by yields in the North Caucasus region at the level of 46.8 c/ha and above 100 c/ha in individual cases. Variety "Swan" is distinguished by high drought resistance and moderate winter hardiness, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Northern and South-Foothill zones of Krasnodar Krai, as well as the Northeastern and Eastern zones of Stavropol Krai. It is recommended for the forest-steppe, steppe, and forest-steppe zones. The variety is resistant to lodging, possesses high resistance to yellow and stem rusts, powdery mildew, as well as brown rust, while being moderately resistant to septoria and ear fusarium. Wheat "Swan" has high milling and baking qualities, making it in demand for the production of high-quality flour and bakery products. The variety is suitable for cultivation on medium and low agronomic backgrounds, including after grain corn. The recommended sowing rate is 4.5-5.0 million viable seeds per hectare, which ensures optimal plant development and high yield.
