SIBAKOVSKAYA YUBILEYNAYA — a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) intended for cultivation in the West Siberia and East Siberia regions. The plant is of medium height, with a semi-upright ear and weakly bent straw. The ear is cylindrical, loose with medium density, white in color, with short awn-like appendages and a rounded shoulder of medium width. The vegetative period ranges from 81 to 99 days; the variety is medium-late, ripening several days later than the Omskaya 35 variety. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 43 grams. The plant has a strong waxy coating on the ear, the upper internode of the straw, and the sheath of the flag leaf. The variety is characterized by medium drought resistance and lodging resistance, as well as resistance to solid head smut. It is moderately susceptible to brown rust and weakly susceptible to powdery head smut, however, it is prone to powdery mildew, Septoria, and root rots. Average yield in the West Siberia region reaches 21.7–25.0 c/ha, while maximum yield figures in Omsk region reached 61.0 c/ha. The variety is recommended for cultivation in Omsk region and other regions with similar climatic conditions. SIBAKOVSKAYA YUBILEYNAYA is distinguished by high baking qualities, making it in demand for the production of high-quality bread and other food purposes. Gluten content in the grain is 40.6%, which exceeds the indicators of standard varieties. Thanks to the combination of good yield, disease resistance, and excellent technological properties of the grain, this variety is a reliable choice for agricultural producers focused on quality grain and stable harvest.
