Corn LID3223C

Focusing on stability amidst climate challenges

In 2025, French breeder Lidea introduced the LID3223C hybrid to the Ukrainian market, specifically designed for growers operating in regions with unpredictable moisture levels. With an FAO of 320, this mid-maturing hybrid offers a rare combination of vigorous early development and the ability to maintain yield potential even under water stress.

Technological profile and adaptability

The key differentiator of LID3223C compared to standard mid-maturing hybrids is its high plasticity. It performs consistently across the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya zones, making it a versatile tool for farms with diverse land holdings.

• Dent grain type: ensures an optimal balance of grain weight and density, which is critical for commercial grain production.
• Rapid moisture dry-down: the hybrid minimizes drying costs, allowing for timely harvesting without compromising grain quality.
• Responsiveness to intensive management: LID3223C is engineered for high-input systems, rewarding investment in fertilizer and crop protection with maximum grain output per hectare.

High drought tolerance combined with an intensive growth habit makes this hybrid a top choice for large-scale operations and farmers focused on grain exports. It is forgiving of planting date variations and efficiently capitalizes on short windows of favorable weather, making it a reliable asset for the 2025 crop rotation.
