SIBERIAN NIVA

Soft winter wheat SIBERIAN NIVA® is a high-yielding variety of grain wheat, developed taking into account various climatic conditions in Russia. This variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, which allows it to be successfully grown in regions with harsh winters. In addition, SIBERIAN NIVA has resistance to the main diseases of wheat, including powdery mildew, brown rust, septoria and snow mold, which contributes to a stable harvest of high-quality grain.

The variety is characterized by a high protein content in the grain, reaching 13.3–14.8%, as well as good gluten indices (28.1–32.9%), which makes its products in demand for the food industry. The weight of 1000 grains varies within 42–48 grams, indicating large-grainedness and high seed quality. Due to increased resistance to lodging, the variety maintains yield and grain quality even under adverse weather conditions.

SIBERIAN NIVA was developed and approved for use by leading research institutions, including the Omsk Agrarian Research Center and the Federal Research Center «Nemchinovka». The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Western Siberian region and successfully used in various agroclimatic zones.
