Wheat Reliquia

A Breeding Foundation for Yield

The «Relikviya» wheat variety is the result of years of Ukrainian breeding efforts aimed at developing a compact and highly manageable crop. In the context of intensive farming, where every centner of yield is won through seeding density and fertilizer efficiency, this variety has carved out a niche as a low-stature yet high-yielding crop.

Agronomic Profile and Resilience

The key feature of «Relikviya» lies in its physical parameters. With a stem height ranging from 50 to 60 cm, the crop is virtually immune to lodging. This is a critical factor for farms that apply high doses of nitrogen fertilizers: even when the heavy grain head fills, the plant maintains its vertical position, minimizing harvesting losses and simplifying combine operations.

Market Positioning

This variety has proven itself as a reliable choice for farmers focused on predictable results. Thanks to its genetic stability, the variety adapts well to Ukraine’s climatic zones, showing resilience across various soil types. Within crop rotation, «Relikviya» is valued as a technologically advanced crop that requires minimal expenditure on growth regulators due to its natural compactness.
