The PR37N54 corn hybrid is a mid-season variety with dent-type kernels, designed for high-quality grain production. It features high grain productivity and stable performance across various soil-climate conditions, making it suitable for the entire territory of Ukraine. The hybrid exhibits high initial growth energy and rapid moisture release during maturation, facilitating timely harvest and reducing moisture loss.
PR37N54 has high drought tolerance and tolerance to common corn diseases, including helminthosporiosis, blister and gray leaf spot, as well as stalk and root rot. The hybrid is treated for added protection against diseases caused by monoculture. It demonstrates good resistance to stalk and root lodging, as well as natural tolerance to damage from corn stalk borer. High regenerative capacity (stay-green effect) allows compensation for reduced plant density, thereby increasing overall yield.
PR37N54 is suitable for cultivation under both adequate and insufficient water supply, with a recommended planting density of 55 to 65 thousand plants per hectare. It is well-adapted to minimum soil tillage and requires adherence to crop growth stages when applying post-emergence herbicides. Thanks to the Optimum® AQUAmax® technology, the hybrid maximally utilizes available moisture, which is especially important for the forest-steppe and steppe regions.
