NEMCHINOVSKAYA 24

Nemchinovskaya 24 is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) characterized by medium ripening and dwarfism, reaching a height of up to 90 cm depending on moisture conditions. It has high resistance to lodging, confirmed by a maximum rating of 5 points on a 5-point scale. The duration of the growing period is about 317 days, with possible fluctuations from 300 to 328 days. The grain of the variety is elongated, large, with a mass of 1000 grains ranging from 40 to 44 grams, which ensures good baking qualities of the flour, including a protein content of 13.6% and gluten content of 27.5%. The variety Nemchinovskaya 24 has high genetic resistance to various adverse abiotic and biotic factors, which contributes to yield stability. It is resistant to brown rust and solid head smut, and is weakly affected by powdery mildew and snow mold. Due to these characteristics, the variety does not require the application of fungicides, which makes it economically advantageous for cultivation. Nemchinovskaya 24 also demonstrates good winter hardiness and the ability to withstand high doses of fertilizers, which is especially important for regions with a risk of unsuccessful overwintering of winter wheat. Recommended for cultivation in the Central region of Russia, including Moscow, Bryansk, Ryazan, Kaluga, Tul, and Oryol regions. The average yield of the variety in these regions is about 29.9 c/ha, while in favorable conditions it can reach 97 c/ha and more.
