Description MIP Solomia
The wheat variety MIP Solomia was included in the State Register in 2020 and is intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones. The vegetation period of this variety ranges from 86 to 90 days, and plant height varies between 63.1 and 81.6 cm. Due to these characteristics, the variety is well adapted to the climatic conditions of the recommended regions.

MIP Solomia is distinguished by high protein content in the grain — from 14.2% to 14.6% — making it attractive for producing high-quality flour and other products. The variety exhibits resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as drought tolerance, confirmed by resistance ratings of 7-9 points. Additionally, it shows high resistance to major wheat diseases, such as powdery mildew, brown rust, and Fusarium head blight, as well as to pests, including the wheat fly and the cereal leaf beetle.

The yield of the MIP Solomia variety has been confirmed by practical results: over the past three years at STOV "Peremoga", it averaged 58.7 centners per hectare. These figures indicate high productivity and reliability of the variety, making it a profitable choice for agricultural enterprises focused on stable and high-quality wheat production.
