Winter wheat LG Cruzak — an early, intensive, high-yielding variety developed by the French breeding company Limagrain and produced in Germany. It is intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe, and is suitable for different soil types and weather conditions. The variety is characterized by medium plant height of about 85 cm and belongs to quality group A, ensuring stable grain quality with average protein and gluten content.
LG Cruzak is distinguished by high resistance to major fungal diseases such as leaf septoria, rust, yellow rust, powdery mildew, and Fusarium head blight, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Additionally, the variety exhibits high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and resistance to lodging, making it a reliable choice for minimum tillage practices. The recommended seeding rate is 3.5 to 5 million seeds per hectare.
The potential yield of LG Cruzak reaches 120 centners per hectare, allowing its use for both grain and bakery purposes. The variety is characterized by stable yield and quality performance, making it popular among farmers focused on producing high-quality grain for bread and other products. Seed packaging is available in 50 kg bags and bulk lots.
